WELCOME TO OUR CROYDON CHILDCARE CENTRE & KINDERGARTEN
Our wonderful Croydon centre is conveniently located at 20 Croydon Road, just across the road from Croydon Primary School with easy access to Croydon Train Station and Maroondah Highway. Our bright and fresh purpose-built childcare centre encompasses the historic Croydon church hall. This wonderful structure has been a special addition to our beautiful learning environments, thoughtfully created for the development of babies to 4-year-old kindergarten.
Our learning spaces are open, airy, bright and clean, they’re full of life and designed around children’s age specific needs and capabilities. Our beautiful adventure garden surrounds the centre and is accessible from a number of rooms connecting our learning environments for the children.
The kinder garden has ample space for lots of exploring and adventures. While the babies and toddlers have their own exclusive gardens with soft textural plants, wooden story seat and toddlers’ sandpit, secret paths and a giant xylophone, which is often heard from Croydon Road chiming away with delight.

MEET OUR CROYDON TEAM
Our team of early learning professionals nurture each child, encourage their emerging talents and create an environment ideal to support wellbeing, learning and play.
We know having a dedicated, passionate and supported team is essential to ensure children and families receive the most from being a part of the Platypus Junction community. Our educators understand how vital it is to provide a caring, supportive and creative environment for children. We invest a great deal of time in attracting and retaining the right members for our Platypus Junction Team. They must be passionate people with not only the best qualifications and experience but also the right qualities.
Our educators develop educational experiences based on the National Quality Framework (NQF) and leading early learning philosophies from around the world. Our curriculum is reflective of children’s interests and developed in conjunction with families and children.
